What a fantastic time the bees and I’ve had during the last two Forest Friday sessions. The children have made bird feeders with pine cones and peanut butter, made birds nests out of twigs and hessian, made fairy catchers and constructed dens with rope and tarpaulins. They have drawn maps and bird pictures and caught lots of worms. On top of all this they have learned about birds and insects and flowers and all about caring for everything that nature provides. Oh yes, they got thoroughly muddy too!
